| The music department of Elliott Baptist Church strives to provide a "Christ Centered Music Ministry Experience". The mission statement of our music program can best be summed up by the following hymn verse:
"Let every instrument be tuned for praise! Let all rejoice who have a voice to raise!
And may God give us faith to sing always Alleluia!" (1972, "When In Our Music God
is Glorified", Hope Publications).
The musical experience at Elliott includes the Adult Choir (a SATB traditional chancel choir that participates in most services), the Brey Bell Choir (2-3 octave handbell choir) and opportunities for children to perform both vocally and with Crystal Bells in worship services. Elliott also is blessed with many talented soloists, a ladies trio and a men's quartet.
